Talk about jet lag.
Birdy‘s latest album Fire Within was actually released in Europe back in September 2013, and now it’s finally available across the Atlantic ocean in North America.
Almost everyone at some point in the past three years has heard her cover of Bon Iver‘s “Skinny Love“ back from 2011 (and if you haven’t, it is definitely worth a listen).
Her youthful image, contrasted with her mature voice comes to life again with her new album – composed entirely of original tracks.
Fire Within is extremely similar to her debut album, with most of the songs sounding very alike in both a musical and lyrical aspect.
Nevertheless, she is exceptionally talented and effortlessly fits into the indie pop scene.
