Dralms – Pillars and Pyre

Powerful, and pensive: Two words that can generate large doses of rhetoric thought and parallel emotions. “Pillars and Pyre”, the latest single from Vancouver artist Christopher Smith (a.k.a Dralms) conjures up both with hypnotic, dense electronic programming (from electronic producer Andy Dixon), and Smith’s signature vocal gracefulness reciting “This is Hell for the weak ones / For the strong, this is Heaven on Earth”.

And to make things even more interesting, the music video features a black metal drummer, playing in slow-motion for dramatic effect.
