AA Wallace – Secret Name
Nova Scotia-born/Toronto-based nu-disco artist AA Wallace has released the next single from his forthcoming album In Alpha Zones out later this year. “Secret Name” has Wallace expanding upon his DIY synth pop sound, combing in textures borrowed from disco, house, and most of all: dance pop.
Along with a video that would make Schrodinger proud (what’s in the box?!), “Secret Name” cycles back around to a luscious chorus hook, held together with swelling synthesizers that demand a spacious performance and dance-suasing percussion.
