Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival: Day 4
Persevering through the chilly, rainy weather that made the ducks happy, the Dragon Boat Festival came to a close on Sunday. The final day of free concerts made the most of the afternoon, with Ottawa singer-songwriter Craig Cardiff (and his adorable dog), Manotick favourites Hollerado, and Toronto’s Tokyo Police Club.
Mother Nature forced Craig Cardiff to perform in the Main Festival Tent instead of the usual stage, but made the most of it none the less. Hollerado and Tokyo Police Club braved the risk of rain for the final performances, making sure the crowd had forgotten how cold and damp they were and instead remind them how exciting and energetic the evening would be.
