Liam Corcoran – Let It Be Now

If you don’t recognize the name, you may certainly recognize the voice: Liam Corcoran was the lead singer of PEI indie pop band Two Hours Traffic before they split up back 2013 due to financial issues. Moving forward, Corcoran began writing and recording individually back in December 2014, and now has announced his new solo project and will be releasing his seven-track debut ROM-DROM EP August 28th.

As a taste from the upcoming record, the Charlottetown musician has shared the single “Let It Be Now”. His soft, deep voice is a familiar characteristic on the new track, reminiscent of long-time collaborator Joel Plaskett, and combines beautifully with the metronome-esque guitar strumming and piano pop layers.
