Zenith Myth – Temple Dome (Official Music Video)

Multi-instrumentalist/experimental electronic artist Zenith Myth recently released his latest album Eclipsed V on August 21st (which is now streaming at Impose Magazine). To celebrate the occasion, the Ottawa-born, L.A.-based musician has released the hallucinogenic music video for the single “Temple Dome”.

Highlighting the track’s prominent percussion role, the video shows Mike Edwards mostly playing drums from his home. The heavy, slow tempo of the track coincides with the gradual fades and crosses of the off-beat visual accompaniment. Edwards explains:

“In contrast to my debut record, the tempo is faster, thanks to the addition of arpeggiators and drum programming. I managed to slow it all down again with acoustic guitar flourishes hinting at the classic rock sounds of Fleetwood Mac, to the ambience of Boards of Canada with some early Cure melancholy thrown in for good measure.”

Check out the album’s lead single “Shadow Fortune” as well.
