Dignitary – Destiny’s False Turn
With a hint of Cheap Trick, The National, and New Order in their sound, L.A-based post-punk group Dignitary are releasing their debut collection The Tautology EP on October 20th. Fronted by lead singer Mike Cuenca, the band’s music flirts between vibrant optimism and gloomy helpless-romantic. Ahead of the release, the six-piece have shared the second track from The Tautology “Destiny’s False Turn”.

Cuenca was a filmmaker for years leading up to the formation of Dignitary (formerly Dignitary Loss) and although he has traded a camera for a microphone, his visual creativity is transformed into dynamic, textured musical creations on the new single.
