London, Ontario four-piece Big Lonely love to tell a story – their debut single “Dirty Clocks” told the age old tale of the underdog through an all-or-nothing game of air hockey. Now, the indie rock band continue their anecdotal tradition in the form of their latest single “Tapes”:
“The video tells the story of a young Milkman trying to keep his family’s business afloat during trying times. The ownership of Father & Son Milk Co. has been passed down by generations, but in todays market, the Milkman struggles to stay relevant.
‘Tapes’ shows a man doing the best he can to carry the torch for his father, keep his legacy strong, and make his family proud.”
Big Lonely gradually introduce the story and the on-going frustration for the protagonist with a charming, heartfelt, and energizing melody, and sing-along-friendly anthems gracing the chorus.
Big Lonely are releasing their debut album Close Your Eyes, Keep Talking December 5th, and you can head to their website for more music and information.
