L.A. DJ TOKiMONSTA is known for her artistic fusion of R&B, dance, and classic electronica in her sound. Featured around the world, from NPR to BBC1, TOKiMONSTA was proudly the first female artist to join Flying Lotus’ crew Brainfeeder.
Continuing to become a prominent leader in the next generation of electronic music, the California artist released the You’re Invited EP with friend and collaborator Gavin Turek in August. From the electro-R&B collection, the pair have released a series of remixes of the lead single “Hemisphere”.
Ranging from progressive house to deep house to big room, the 3-track record features Hawaii-based producer Blackbird Blackbird, dance/hip-hop DJ KRNE, and DJ/film composer brother-duo Beat Ventriloquists.
Approaching the single from new and unchartered angles, “Hemisphere” is a versatile electronic hit that switches outfits with the help of talented and creative minds.
