Wicked Mercy – Fading Fast (Official Music Video)
Ottawa-based hard rock group Wicked Mercy recently traveled to Romania, capturing the European streets and one woman in particular for their latest music video for the single “Fading Fast”.
The new single features the rock band’s indulgence in slick guitar riffs, groovy doom melodies, and sturdy rock n’ roll with no regrets.
As well, the four-piece have announced their upcoming sophomore release Sundown. “Fading Fast” will be part of the 11-track collection, set to be released December 4th worldwide. According to the band, their venture into a more solidified sound can be tied to one particular story:
“Our guitarist Dave enjoyed brief local celebrity status in Ottawa last May after leaving his new Les Paul guitar in the back of a cab late one night. After being in seemingly ever paper in the country he got his guitar back!! He was front page of all the papers in Ottawa several times over the course of a week as the story was spun into an Uber vs Traditional Taxi Cab debate…”Sundown” could not have been made without that guitar…It is an unmistakable big step forward.”
