The Echo and the Sound – Who Says
L.A.-based rock n’ roll duo The Echo and the Sound released their double EP Buffalo Mouth November 3rd, and from the 12-track effort, the pair have shared their latest single “Who Says”.
Brian Rich (guitar/vocals), and Doug Jewell (drums) do their best to avoid the city-slicked sounds of Los Angeles, and instead deliver blistering garage rock covered in desert sand and western, sepia-tone film.
“Who Says” is no different, with their self-described “gothic-cantina” coming in the form of noisy, fuzz-filled riffs and explosive dynamics that only a guitar-drum pair could produce.
