It has been four years since alternative rock group Wintersleep released their latest record Hello Hum. Their official return The Great Detachment will be released March 4th, but before then, the Montreal-based act released their lead single “Amerika” to critical acclaim, sitting at #1 for four weeks in a row as the most added song to Alternative radio. With such a promising start, Wintersleep have released the second single from the upcoming record “Sante Fe”.
Recorded live-off-floor, the new record possesses a nostalgic aura, reaching back to the earlier sounds of Wintersleeps, but with a welcomed progressive, polished edge. Distorted effects, and rigorous hooks are the building blocks of the song’s irresistibility.
