With the 58th annual Grammy awards airing this Monday, America and the rest of the world will be tuning in to catch music business’ biggest stars receive their prizes and moment in the spotlight. And just like other American traditions, the commercials are just as precious. Gwen Stefani has teamed up with Target to create the first music video shot on live television for her latest single “Make Me Like You”.
Broadcasting only in the US, the music video will take up a four-minute commercial break on CBS; quick set and costume changes, and plenty of surprises await.
You can enjoy the newly released single “Make Me Like You” ahead of time. Stefani’s bombshell blonde persona comes through on the ’90s-era pop song. Reminiscent of her days with No Doubt, the song combines together funk, groove, and late-’90s girl-power pop.
Along with her special event, Stefani has also announced she will be releasing her latest album This Is What the Truth Feels Like March 18th.
