By the time someone reaches the age of 67, one can expect they have seen and experienced quite a bit in their lifetime. Soul and funk musician Charles Bradley has definitely lived through important historical moments in history, especially those fuelled by hate, violence, and segregation. His latest album Changes is set to be released April 1st, and aside from being one of the most anticipated albums of 2016, it also takes a stern look at the world today – a world ruled by violence and hate.

Bradley released his latest single “Change for the World” a few weeks back, and now the American singer has shared the new music video that melts together news clips of the album’s running theme with Bradley’s grizzly look and voice.

Bradley explains:

“This video truly represents the song. It shows a lot of the things going on in this world right now. People need to open their eyes, ears and hearts and understand that we need to make a change.”
