Sacramento hard rock trio American Killers (formerly known as Lite Brite) have released their hard-hitting new single “Big City” and the accompanying animated music video. Influenced by riff-driven bands like Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, and The Rolling Stones, American Killers carrying on the melodic power of classic rock bands, with a contemporary and youthful energy and aggression.

“Big City” teeters between loud, angry, and punchy, or all three at once, with an explosive finish that utilizes the on-going hook as a repeating build. The song’s character induces slow, heavy head-banging before erupting into fuel for a burning mosh pit with lead singer Eddie Underwood’s barreling screams.

As for the music video, the animated anti-hero flick gives the song an additional edge, telling the story of a detective-gone-rogue chasing after a corrupted politician around San Francisco, uncovering his blood-soaked past and present.

Does the mayor look familiar?
