Scottish hip-hop-rock-funk-pop trio Young Fathers released their 2014 Mercury Prize winning album DEAD back in 2014, and are continuing to grow in popularity as they embark on their 2016 tour. Adding to their recent success, Young Fathers have shared their new collaboration with electronic icons Massive Attack and the accompanying visual.
Massive Attack’s hypnotizing industrial electronic production provides the darkening soundtrack for the music video, while Young Fathers contribute haunting harmonies of tribal-like choruses and rhythm. The psychologically thrilling music video is a compelling and spine-chilling performance of a woman suddenly taken over by a mysterious orb, put to the equally captivating song.
