From one of the best albums of 2014, “Show Me Love” is the gorgeous, poetic a cappella track from Florida art rock trio Hundred Waters off their sophomore release The Moon Rang Like A Bell. Lead singer Nicole Miglis’ delicate vocals struck deep with pioneer producer Skrillex and he has since released his remix, adding in instrumentals and a slew of contributors to the track, including Chicago MC Chance the Rapper, arrangements by Robin Hannibal, and added vocals from Moses Sumney
Although Skrillex is a leading name in EDM and dubstep especially, “Show Me Love” brings out his creative range, mixing together chill step, deep house, and hip-hop. Chance the Rapper contributes a blood-pumping verse, before transitioning back to Miglis’ angelic verse of “Show me love / show me love / show me love”.
The accompanying music video shows the song’s creative ensemble enjoying their time together and bringing a little positivity to a dark world.
