Since his 2014 Grammy-award winning album Morning Phase, alternative singer-songwriter Beck has been fairly quiet after closing his supporting tour the same year. Aside from his 2015 #1 hit single “Dreams”, which took over the alternative radio station airwaves last summer, the genre-jumping musician has returned a year later with his latest piece “Wow”.
Blending together groovy hip-hop beats with the contemporary electro-pop recipe, the new single has Beck launching his earlier work into a futuristic setting.
For the past year, Beck has been busy at home working on some new material. Along with his latest track, he has announced an untitled record will be hitting shelves this October. And so far, we know it will be nothing like the moody, melancholic Morning Phase. Between the pool-party tune “Dreams”, and the electro-dance banger “Wow”, his upcoming album will be certainly something new and will have everyone saying “Wow”.
