Soul-blues ensemble The Maytags are gearing up to release their debut full-length Love Lines on July 1st, and the Des Moines, Iowa septet have shared their new music video “Marry Ya”.
Built by lyrics of heartbreak, retro-soul swagger, and rough blues vocals, the latest single has a bitter-sweet vibe, showcased in the black-and-white music video. Although drenched in the sounds of old-time blues and soul, The Maytags provide their own contemporary feel with hints of indie folk and rock finding its way into their sound.
