Vactioner – Relief
5/5
If it could write music, the season of summer would sound exactly like Vacationer‘s new album “Relief”.
Brimming full of easy-flowing tracks and west-coast indie pop influence, the Philadelphia-based band have claimed themselves leaders in the “nu-hula” soundscape.
The hit-single “The Wild Life“ is an explosively addicting tune that shows Vacationer‘s clean and polished chill-sound, that is both refreshing and rich with character – after all “the wild life is human nature”.
The band released a second single from the album “In the Grass”, which follows suit with the first single, maintaining the breezy and glowing hooks. Between the instrumentals and lyrics, the song creates the feeling of laying in the grass with no responsibilites or worries.
One of the best releases this month, Relief will be the soundtrack for the summer.
