Scottish Metalcore Act VULPINE Share New Video For “Nightmares” From Latest EP
Aberdeen-based metalcore act VULPINE have shared their explosive new single “Nightmare”. The Scottish band released their debut EP Ventures back in 2021, and have followed up with their sophomore release Nightmares – a four song collection focused on the “fight, flight, freeze, and fawn” responses.
The opening title track looks to the “freeze” trauma response, “routed in the fear of acting in the wrong fashion and the anxiety that any action will make the situation worse“, the band explain. Explained through the sensation of sleep paralysis, “Nightmares” showcases the metalcore band’s dynamic and melodic songwriting, in line with the likes of Funeral For A Friend, Of Mice & Men, and Silverstein.
