Hailing from Duluth, Minnesota, Trampled by Turtles have released their seventh studio album Wild Animals.
Bringing together bluegrass, folk and country, Wild Animals opens with the title track, which is freely held together by the wind-like voices singing the harmony.
Compared to some of their previous work, the new album is much more laidback and calm, with most of the tracks having a gentle tempo, and a graceful sway.
The album is rare musical find where each song neither surpasses or falls behind the last, and begins and ends with a powerful, yet tender force.
