Brothers Richie and Jamie Martin grew up admiring the likes of Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Simon & Garfunkel, and the sort. Forming together as the powerful folk duo Cry Monster Cry, the Martin brothers have discovered their own sound, but not without honing the influences of their idols.
With Richie on guitar, and Jamie’s talents as a multi-instrumentalist, “Atlas”, the latest single from their debut album Rhythm of Dawn, has the brother duo creating beautiful swelling harmonies shaped by warm, nostalgic melodies. “Atlas” is a first-rate folk track from the Irish pair, so sit back and enjoy!
