Yesterday’s warm weather gave the festival-goers at Mooney’s Bay a perfect Friday evening, and with the sun setting over the nearby beach, Day 2 at the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival was nothing short of picturesque.
Ottawa-native Kalle Mattson, Montreal indie folk-rock ensemble The Franklin Electric, and Newfoundland favourites Hey Rosetta! performed to a high energy crowd of racers and music lovers alike.
In case you missed the show, you can now re-live the concerts vicariously through the photos (although you won’t be able to experience Hey Rosetta’s cover of “Stand By Me”. Sorry).
