The Dragon Boat Festival’s recipe of racing, fun, and free concerts continued to make for a wonderful evening on Saturday. Day 3 progressed with the same hype and excitement as the past two days at the festival – this time bringing in local act The Acorn opening, Ottawa-based singer-songwriter Jeremy Fisher, Toronto heavy folk rockers Rural Alberta Advantage, and Vancouver’s Juno winning musician Dan Mangan and his band Blacksmith.
With The Acorn’s intimate performance, Jeremy Fisher’s “J.F. Wash”sales pitch, Rural Alberta Advantage’s chest-throbbing music, and Dan Mangan’s sing-along, Day 3 was a huge success and an exceptional Saturday evening.
Play catch-up with the photos from Day 1 and Day 2.

(Plus, Paul Banwatt of Rural Alberta Advantage is Hawksley Workman’s new competition for mid-playing face contortion).
