Guide to RBC’s Ottawa Bluesfest – July 8, 2015
Music festival season has officially arrived!
Canada’s capital city hosts a number of star-studded festivals across varying genres from Jazz Festival, punk Explosion Weekend, Canadian music-oriented Dragon Boat Festival, and of course: Bluesfest.
With 11 days and over hundred performers, the line up can look fairly intimidating (especially since the name can be a tad misleading). Fortunately, Dusty Organ can help make your experience the best one possible and help you play catch up on all the new music with our daily guide!

July 8: Opening Day
4PM (Bell Stage)
Centred around the main Bell Stage, the first day is for electronic music fans. The FullFlex Express brings together some of the best DJs in the world, igniting the fire with the collaboration of
5PM (Bell Stage):

Florida electronica-folk outfit Hundred Waters released their latest album The Moon Rang Like A Bell May 2014.
Lead by the vocals of lead singer Nicole Miglis, her voice “swiftly flows over the sturdy, yet unpredictable instrumentals” of their electronic-laiden sound.
6PM (Bell Stage):
Ambient-electronic artist Tycho released his latest collection Awake back in March of 2014 to positive reviews. As an expert in a genre that is intended to create deep emotions, and push the boundaries with experimentation, his style will match perfectly with the coming evening.
730PM (Bell Stage):
Back in November of last year, the music world saw the sophomore album release from A$AP Ferg titled Ferg Forever. His east coast trap style was met with positive reviews, and the A$AP member is a must-see for any hip-hop fans.
930PM (Bell Stage):
DUSTY ORGAN APPROVED
DJ superduo Jack Ü recently went viral with their hit “Where Are Ü Now?” featuring Justin Bieber. Composed of dubstep icon Skrillex and dancehall legend Diplo, the headlining show will be nothing short of spectacular from the FullFlex Express pioneers.
