Century Thief – Pillar
Toronto folk rock group Century Thief have announced the September 10th release of their upcoming debut record Reverie. Not only will the 13 track collection be all new material, but the surrounding song writing process will be through a new approach. Instead of their traditional tactic of having principle song writers, Reverie was composed with a more collective attitude in mind. Four members different members contributed songs for the record, providing “a lot of diversity without comprimising on the unity that binds it all together”, the band explains.
As the release date approaches, the indie six piece have released the embracing lead single “Pillar”. With each member playing a significant role in the instrumentation, the group’s sound revolves around well-constructed layering and expertly crafted vocal harmonies from the entire band.
