Le Matos – No Tomorrow ft. PAWWS
Electronic duo Le Matos are proud to be the first release from newly birthed indie label Fantôme Records out of their hometown of Montreal. As a branch of imprint Simone Records, the new chapter hopes to bring forward more experimental and divergent music into the world.
With a steady history composing remixes for the likes of Coeur de Pirate, Electric Youth, and We Have Band, Le Matos have announced the release of their double-album Chronicles of the Wasteland & Turbo Kid Soundtrack out December 4th.
Strongly rooted in ’80s dance-soundtrack, the upcoming collection is lead by single “No Tomorrow”, which features the soft, dream-pop vocals from PAWWS. Vibrant and nostalgic, the retro-style synths and dance-pop melodies sends the single back in time.
Off the Turbo Kid Soundtrack half of the release, “No Tomorrow” is part of the award-winning collection for “Best Original Soundtrack” at the Festival of Fantastic Cinema of Catalonia. The film “Turbo Kid” has also screened at other indie film festivals such as SXSW and Fantasia.
