Hip-hop duo Ryan Vinson and Adam Prince are the brain power behind their recent musical project Said the Starling. Drawn together for their love of hip-hop, Vinson and Prince have released their honest, thought-provoking The Other Imperfect EP today, and alongside the new music video for “Bad Bearings”.
Sparked by a crackling voiceover, and a swift guitar melody, the lead single opens up a discussion about growing up and the inevitable act of “getting old”, trading in physical ability for knowledge and wisdom.
Slow-burning and meditative, “Bad Bearings” is accompanied by the artfully drawn lyrics on a chalkboard in the music video.
