After performing alongside Sun Kil Moon for the past few years, Guelph musician Nick Zubeck is excited to release his first solo effort in five years. Skydiving is out March 11th, but ahead of the release, Zubeck has shared the album’s newest single “Shoot Straight”.
Continuing to progress his music towards a more experimental style, “Shoot Straight” adds extra layers to the singer-songwriter’s traditional folk roots. Dreamy effects, orchestrated percussion, and Zubeck’s calming vocals give the new single a spontaneous charm that strikes a deeper meaning about life and death.
