P.E.I. indie rock favourites Paper Lions have come a long way since their folk rock pop start. Their second full-length Full Colour comes out next month, and the East Coast four-piece have embraced the neon-filled world of pop. Without losing grip on their upbeat melodies and glowing charm, Paper Lions have shared their latest single “Call Back”.
Playful piano chords highlight the song’s neo-’80s groove, finding the best of the easy-going side of pop. Although their sound has changed over time, there is still an undeniable character that is unique to the Belfast natives. Years spent as bandmates and friends shine through as the Paper Lions enjoy their new found dynamic, and urge you to enjoy the music too.
