Dragonette – Lonely Heart

Juno-award winning synth-pop trio Dragonette are heading out this summer with a handful of festival tour dates. With the sunshine months on the way, the Canadian outfit, lead by vocalist Martina Sorbara, along with bassist/producer Dan Kurtz and drummer Joel Stouffer, has released their latest single “Lonely Heart”.
Opposite to the melancholic title, the song is laid-back and vibrant, borrowing elements from reggae, with a No Doubt-esque smooth synth melody. Sorbara’s bubbly, candy-sweet vocals gives “Lonely Heart” its pep and charm, as she sings about being happy with being ourselves.
