Toronto-based synth-pop artist AlphaCub is releasing his debut EP on June 3rd, and after sharing the a handful of tracks from the upcoming release, including “Friends”, and “Fighting”, Marc-Antoine Robertson (AlphaCub), has shared the one-take, dreamscape music video for the EP’s lead single “Comet”.
The groovy, ’80s-synth/’90s-alt rock pop track touches on the concept of time and how Roberston feels as if he never has enough. Fortunately, the music video slows things down to create an exaggerated sense of time, as AlphaCub walks through a dream.
