Working Titles – Tidal Waves

Halifax-based musician and designer Glen Leck is a busy man: he designs websites, albums, and whatever else he can, along with playing guitar in the country rock group The Legendary Golden River Show Band. In between all this, Leck finds time to record and write as under his solo moniker Working Titles, a quiet, soft-paced project amongst his collection of much busier ones. Set to release his two-track Tidal Waves & Photographer EP July 8th, Leck has shared the lead single “Tidal Waves”.
Opening with a shimmering flash of guitar, “Tidal Waves” instantly melts into a pool of cool water like the stillness of a bird bath in a freshly mowed backyard. Despite the tidal connotation in the title, the single is calm, slick, and gentle mix of lo-fi basement recording and relaxed shoegaze.
