After showing a more matured and polished sound with his well-received third album GOOD:AM, Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller is set to follow up his newly shaped sound with the September 16th release of The Divine Feminine. Along with the announcement, Miller has shared the album’s lead single “Dang!”, featuring hip-hop’s fastest rising star Anderson .Paak.
With a smooth, down-tempo beat as the track’s slick backdrop, “Dang!” has Mac Miller chasing his relationship in circles. His steady delivery flows overtop the song’s jazzy rhythm, with .Paak offering his R&B-style vocals for the chorus, combining for a well-balanced dynamic.
