Fake Shape – Headspace
Hamilton-based indie rock band Fake Shape are gearing up to release their debut Night Swim EP sometime this year. The five-piece, composed of Chester Edington, David Baldry, Seth Hunter, Olivia Brown, and Mackenzie Read, are excited to share the summery lead single “Headspace”.
Written about the experience of recounting past memories through the preverbal rose coloured glasses, “Headspace” is a glistening indie rock tune that re-creates a summer-filled nostalgia. The warm guitar tones and Edington’s light vocals helps to build the image of “riding a bike on a hot summer day”.
