NOA – Motions
Now that the cloudy haze of Valentine’s Day has come and gone, love and relationships are back to being their usual selves. Which includes, for some, reaching an ending point.
Toronto-based indie pop singer NOA recently went through a break-up, which inspired her to write her new single “Motions” on Valentine’s Day 2019. The young nu-R&B singer wanted to explore the human emotions of being post-breakup, and the peaks and valleys that are a result.
Opening with soft guitars beneath NOA’s angelic vocals, “Motions” eventually reaches a gentle pop chorus à-la Ariana Grande as she explores the range of feelings and emotions involved in dealing with being alone.
