Half Moon Run Share Two New Singles Following Juno Win
Canadian music fans celebrated the Junos this year through a virtual broadcast on June 29th and Montreal’s Half Moon Run took home their first win with Adult Alternative Album of the Year.
To celebrate, the band have shared a pair of new singles, “You Won’t” and “Look Me in the Eyes (Skitstövel). It was originally recorded as one song, but they decided to separate them, giving the meditative instrumental its own space before shifting into melancholic rock track “Look Me in the Eyes”.
The respective music videos provide a small twist on the “new normal” of isolation music videos. Using video effects, the band overlap together creating the illusion of the band being together again.
Enjoy both songs below. You can hear “Look Me in the Eyes” on our Monthly Spotify playlist.

P.S. “Skitstövel” is Swedish for ‘motherfucker’ (Google Translate).
