Swedish Multi-Instrumentalist sir Was Drops Latest Single “I Need A Minute” From Upcoming Album

Joel Wästberg, the Swedish producer and multi-instrumentalist who performs as sir Was, has shared his new single “I Need A Minute”, the latest from his upcoming full-length project Let The Morning Come, out on October 15th via Memphis Industries. Following a life-altering 2020, including a cancelled tour and a rare diagnosis for a condition that causes multiple strokes, Wästberg wrote his new album with the theme of time and the importance of enjoying the moment at the helm.

Bringing the topic to life, “I Need A Minute” incorporates subtle electronic grooves and soaring falsetto to shine a light on being present. Speaking about the new single, Wästberg says: “I Need A Minute is about the strong wish to stick around for a bit longer. A cry for more time. At the same time, it’s a wish for a pause. I Need A Minute! You hear me?!”
