The Lumineers Announce New Album; Share Title Track “Brightside”
Folk pop act The Lumineers have officially announced their new album Brightside will be out January 14th, 2022. The multiple Grammy-nominated group are now onto their fourth album, and have shared the lead single and title track. “The song ‘Brightside’ was recorded in a single day,” says singer-guitarist and co-founder Wesley Schultz. “It’s like a 15-year-old’s fever dream, an American love story in all its glory and heartbreak. The last couple left, on the run from something and all alone…”. Their first taste of new music in over two years, “Brightside” is a warm and welcoming return to their captivating and heavy-hearted folk music, lead by Schultz’ signature rustic vocals.
