Introducing: Indie Singer-Songwriter Harley Alaska Shares Heartfelt Debut Single “Lose You Too”

Following a massive wave of support through his TikTok profile, Sydney-based indie bedroom pop artist Harley Alaska has released his debut single “Lose You Too”. The young Gen-Z artist has been using songwriting as a tool to manage his anxiety, exploring themes of self-acceptance and growth in his music.

Writing in secret during since high school, Harley spent hours creating music in his bedroom, alone with his vulnerabilities and creativity. “Showing people your music is fucking terrifying”, he explains.“Especially when you write as blatantly honest as I accidentally seem to keep doing. But I guess more terrifying to me was the idea of continuing to hide the one thing in my life that ever made me feel like I was worth something. I felt if I just flew under the radar, I couldn’t be shot down.”

With a charming and contemporary pop production style, reminiscent of Jeremy Zucker and Role Model, Harley Alaska shares his experience with love and loss on “Lose You Too”. About the song, he shares, “When my last relationship ended I really had to re-find the person who I was…or wanted to be. My identity was so wound up in somebody else that I was really lost for a while. When you’re young it’s especially tough… you don’t really have a solid idea of who you are in the first place.”

With a strong first impression and a loyal online following, Harley Alaska is sure to be a budding name in coming months.
