Indie Rock Prodigies Black Country, New Road Announce Sophomore Album With Latest Single “Chaos Space Marine”
Following their wildly successful debut album For the first time released this past February, UK seven-piece Black Country, New Road are continuing to seek critical acclaim with their upcoming sophomore album Ants From Up There, set for release on February 2, 2022. Leading the way is their collossal new single “Chaos Space Marine”, which has the band once again using their full-sized lineup to create textured and art-rock heavy indie music.
“[It is] the best song we’ve ever written“, frontman Isaac Wood shares. “We threw in every idea anyone had with that song,” says Wood. “So the making of it was a really fast, whimsical approach – like throwing all the shit at the wall and just letting everything stick.”
Violin, piano, percussion, and a woodwind section come together for a flurry of music and triumph, in line with acts such as Arcade Fire and Squid.
