John Orpheus – October 16th / November 13th (acoustic/poetry)

Boasting a pair of full-length albums and mixtapes, including his latest record Saga King, Orpheus is also a published author, and released his memoir SAGA BOY earlier this year in conjunction with his new album.

John Orpheus will be performing an “electric” set to open the series, and will return on November 13th for an acoustic/poetry set.

Simeon Ross has proven himself to be a talented and tireless pop songwriter having written and released more than 10 albums as a solo artist and with various bands including Red Autumn Fall, Charmer, Infighter, Shoot The Image and Uniter. Along with being a dedicated musician, Ross is a graduate of the Toronto Film School, and combines his two passions for captivating audio-visual releases, including his self-produced award-winning music video “All Of You”.

Sam Casey – October 30

Now at 21, Casey is embarking on a new music direction with two EPs in the works: one with UK producer Joe Thompson and one with Canadian producer Mike Schlosser (John Orpheus). With a love for Fleetwood Mac and Maggie Rogers, her emotive vocals and indie pop style hint towards her inspirations.

The Wilderness of Manitoba – November 6

After a three-year hiatus, JUNO-nominated indie pop act The Wilderness of Manitoba have returned with a new line-up and a new album entitled Farewell To Cathedral set for release October 29th. Founding member and singer/multi-instrumentalist Will Whitwham is joined by Victoria Carr on vocals and acoustic guitar, Tavo Diez de Bonilla (Jenn Grant) on bass and vocals, and Adam Balsam (The Most Serene Republic) on drums, vocals, guitar and keyboards. The group are now into their twelfth year and continue to create music that ranges from cinematic indie pop to anthemic folk rock.

Ghost Caravan – November 20

Toronto-based pop group Ghost Caravan, lead by singer/actress Shaina Silver-Baird, are set to release new music in the coming year, building off their electro-pop collection of singles and a full-length. With a dance-floor ready energy at all times, Ghost Caravan blend together their pop influences with real-life experiences for relatable and energizing releases.

Odario – November 27

Host of CBC Music’s afterdark program, frontman of Grand Analog, and overall music aficionado, Odario boasts a colourful collection of hats as an actor, DJ, and personality. With a handful of releases under his belt both with Grand Analog and as a solo artist, Odario creates music revolving around his passion for storytelling. With new music on the way, Odario continues to be a staple member of the Toronto music scene and beyond.

TANDM & Alex Exists – December 4

Toronto-based indie pop band TANDM and singer/songwriter/producer Alex Exists will be sharing the stage for a colourful double bill performance. Thomas Franklin and Maxine Beck-Sinderby create upbeat indie pop music as TANDM, and have released two EPs and a single since appearing on the scene in 2019.

Alongside the pair, Alex Exists, the founding member of the Ruby Spirit and The Nursery, will be sharing his solo work. Inspired by absurdism, hyper surrealism, and optimistic nihilism, his new solo project is a re-imagination of his work with The Nursery, and an experimental fascination with pop culture and ego.
