Indie Duo Valley Boy Let The World In On Their Secrets With Quirky New Single “Disgusting” From Upcoming EP

Best friends James Ghaleb and Ian Meltzer have been writing music together for a number of years, as a way to help each other process their less-than stable childhood as misfits from broken homes. Their experiences through addiction, attempted suicide, and existential crisis have strengthened their brotherhood and provided the fuel for their musicianship as Valley Boy.

With their sophomore EP on the horizon, the pair have shared their latest single “Disgusting”, a vulnerable and emotive song that is true to their sound. The self-love anthem is about embracing the parts of oneself that is generally hidden from the world, unveiling quirky secrets that balance between humourous and meaningful.

The song’s progression from acoustic guitar ballad to bedroom-rock makes for a charming and captivating experience, making ithe perfect addition to an indie film soundtrack circa 2008.
