Marco Thomas and Ryan Titmus, the duo behind musical project/web series Slab City, have shared the final piece of their multimedia narrative. Set in the oppressive urban waste land of Koda City ruled by mafia boss El Don, the story comes to an end with the rebellious new single “Taking Over”. Bringing the iconic dubstep genre into the modern style of brostep and grime, “Taking Over” is a punchy and ferocious effort that features the rap style of fellow UK artist Nat James. Punchy bass and party-starting energy make for a speaker-breaking effort that is more anthemic and energizing.
