Los Angeles Prog-Rock Artist Zach Tabori Shares “You Know You Just Want Me To Die” From Recent LP ‘Soft Boiled’
Having released his enigmatic, genre-jumping prog-rock collection Soft Boiled on January 19th, Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist Zach Tabori has shared a cut from the record, “You Know You Just Want Me To Die”. The 8-track collection is a fever dream of styles and retro inspirations, from Frank Zappa to Sly and the Family Stone, and the new single is an operatic ballad about social media’s obsession with obituaries and faming the dead. Triumphant ’70s & ’80s rock is a clear influence on the new ballad, with the likes of Queen, Elton John, and Poison coming to mind.
