British Rapper Jackie Marua Shares Heartfelt Ode To His Late Wife On “Holding On To Hope”
From his upcoming EP Thirteen Eleven, British rapper/songwriter Jackie Marua has shared his new single “Holding On To Hop”, a song written during an extremely difficult time in his life.
[It’s] detailing my journey of grief after my late wife’s death & her battle of depression”, he explains. “The song is a story about moving forward and being able to love again and start a family although sometimes it is bitter sweet without a loved one“.
Matched with a cool, expressive sample, the song is a vulnerable and heartbreaking account.
