Los Angeles Electro-Pop Artist FLASCH Turns Life’s Challenges Into Her Latest Single “LOOK! AT! ME!”
Following a series of less than ideal turn of events, Los Angeles-based indie artist FLASCH came out on top with her new single “LOOK!AT!ME”. From breaking a lease with a landlord that was spying on her for four months, a flooded apartment, a ban from Tinder for seeming like a fake account, and an ongoing battle with PMDD (Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder), FLASCH has put her frustrations into the captivating new single and video.
“LOOK! AT! ME!” was originally inspired by the intrusive thoughts she gets from her disorder. “[The song] is a personified version of the feelings of my intrusive thoughts and reactionary feelings”, she explains. “As soon as my PMDD “episode” is over, I feel free again for about 10 days until I start falling back into my misery. This song is also about all the people who doubt us in life and how we are better now that we aren’t surrounded by toxic people and situations of our past”.
