INTRODUCING: Indie Newcomer Jei-Rynn Shares Debut Single & Video “Screaming Inside”

Southern California native Jason Ledesma spent much of his formative years writing and producing music, and performing with a handful of bands. With his experience at hand, Ledesma has embarked on a soul journey, performing as Jei-Rynn. Combining elements of Gen-z pop with lo-fi production and minimalist bedroom aesthetics, his debut single “Screaming Inside” is a hook-driven track that explores difficult personal experiences with an upbeat facade.

About the song, Jei-Rynn shares: “‘Screaming Inside” is a post-pandemic, zillennial anthem that speaks to all of the pressing anxieties of the modern era, both personal and societal. Lyrically inspired by the recent threat of increased Asian-American hate crimes in America, the song looks social silencing and young depression dead in the eye“.
