Producer Rico Love Teams Up With WifeyBaby For New Trap Hit “Rico”
Accomplished songwriter and producer Rico Love has teamed up with rapper WifeyBaby for their new single “Rico”. With a swinging Southern style, the new trap hit boasts a confident and sensual performance from Wifey, topped off by a club-ready hip-hop beat courtesy of Rico Love.
About the song, Rico shares:“It all started when I used to hang out on this club in LA called ‘Area’ and the DJ every night would play this Pink Floyd song called “The Wall” and the lights would go off. And every time this particular part of the song would come on “Hey teacher leave those kids alone”, all the lights would go crazy in the club! So I always said “turn the lights on!” and I knew these lights would go on. And then I just started saying that on my records, I was putting it on all my songs and everything I do.”
Fans of Latto, Iggy Azalea, and Cardi B will find something to love about the punchy new track.
